Pitts Chapel will have Easter Sunrise Service everyone is invited. We will have refreshments after the service. It will begin at 6:30 CST on Easter morning. I have gone to this Church my whole life and we have always at Easter Sunrise Service no matter how many or how few show up. Please join us, everyone is welcome.

We had a great breakfast and a good crowd at church today. Our new minister provided a wonderful message. I just love my church family. Thank you all for a great day!

A slim few at Church today, but the doors were wide open and the fans were on! A wonderful butterfly; Black with blue spots joined in. We coaxed him/her out of the tall window and Leigh DeShields cupped it in her hands. She set him free. No speaker today; no songs today. We sat and talked. Always good. Always good to be in His house. Especially this house.

Another great Sunday to be in the house that was built 120 ago for service to our Lord and Savior! Our visiting layspeaker Steve Pitts and his sweet wife Linda brought their beautiful grandchildren Davis and Olivia Grace with them. The message Steve brought was well studied an most appreciated! So good to have Ben Ritch and his beautiful Gabby join us! We are few in numbers, strong in Love and blessed to worship in this incredible sanctuary!

If you only come to Pitts Chapel to see me each Sunday; you’re coming for the wrong reason. This coming first Sunday, I, Doug Chamblee will not be there. I’ll be away, hopefully holding my third grandson Everett. He’s due to make an entrance on Saturday. God’s will alone! This Sunday is first Sunday meaning Breakfast at 9:00 cst and Service at 10:00 cst. Come see my church family.

We would like to invite everyone to our Christmas Program on Sunday December 10, 2017 at 2:30 cst. It will be a short program of music and readings to celebrate the Birth of Jesus. We do ask all that join us to bring a non-perishable food item/items; that we distribute to those in the community in need. Snacks and fellowship will follow. Please join us! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I enjoyed our service this morning with guest speaker Mr. Forrer. A good message and a great group of friends. We continue to lift Tara Ingram up! Lord hear that name, my friends name; and take her hand Lord!

Easter Sunrise Service!

Pitt's Chapel Methodist Church will have their Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. CST. We welcome all to come and be a part of the Celebration of Our Lord! What a great day to gather!

We enjoyed an inspiring message from our friend and brother Ricky Dunn this morning. Such a beautiful day inside and outside of Pitts Chapel. Next Sunday will be 1st Sunday. Breakfast at 9:00 CST and our service starts at 10:00. Please join us!

It was a very cool morning. We love heater-hugging! Glad to have had my Church Family there and a couple of guests at Pitts Chapel.

We will be hosting our annual Christmas Program on Sunday December 11 at 2:00 PM CST. Our program this year is a joint effort with members of our sister church, Union Grove UMC. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the program and refreshments afterwards. Please bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated locally to help those less fortunate.
